Know thyself. When we ask the right questions, each of us can make effective, lasting changes within ourselves. So what is the correct question to ask? From my experience, the client will tell you exactly what it is. The trick is to know what to listen for. The whole objective is to gather information from the client. The information is all about their internal representation of an experience that is the cause of generating an outcome that they either DO or DO NOT want to have happen. It’s about knowing HOW to make changes to the cause of the manifestation in our life; how to be effective in listening.
So how does effective change take place or happen? Many people collect information about what is going on, however make little to no changes within themselves. Some really want to make a change, however they feel that the price of change will be too high. In other words, they have a fear that if they make a change, they will loose something, thus are better off keeping the current situation as is. The choice is always ours. What people often fail to realize is that making a change within ourselves is 99.9% painless. And the change can happen in an instant, or NOW! Discover:
Discover who you ARE;
How the brain processes information;
The key to manifestation;
The power of words;
How to create an achievable outcome.
Biography
About forty years ago I had an experience of a deceased person stuck within my aura. At the time, I was a a practicing Christian and had absolutely no awareness such things existed. Today that experience would be described as a “possession.” For me, it was pure FEAR, not only from a psychological point of view (my sanity), but also from a physical point of view—I was doing and saying things I’d never done (nor ever contemplated).
My pastor, and others in the Christian community, felt that I was having a mental break down. In my own mind, I knew what was going on was NOT me and that I was NOT having a mental break down. Upon advice from a cousin, I went to an “open development circle” at a Spiritualist church. Rev. Collette did a Trans healing on me, determining that I had a spirit that was “stuck” in my aura (she had a chat with him). That was a mind blower! After her chat, the Spirit was “unstuck” from my aura. It took another two weeks for me to get use to the silence and lack of chatter & vulgar words. My fears dissipated. What remained was a world of experiences of living beauty, voices, singing, colours and everything was (and still is) ALIVE.
From that time until now, I’ve had many experiences and realizations about HOW we create “consciously” our reality by choice. It has been an ever evolving realization about how we create. The difference these days is that I am much more clear about what is happening. When these realizations first started occurring, it was a daily experience of different realities and visiting different spheres of consciousness. Along with the experiences of these “other” realities, I became aware of how they were created and who habituated those spheres (states of consciousness). These visits were in full consciousness. Bear in mind that I was going to work every day while all this “stuff” was happening—all day long and well into the night.
For five years or so after that, I became a medium. I soon learned that people did not have the conscious awareness of HOW they created their realties. I’d see blocks that were causing creations they “did not want”, people typically felt completely inadequate and did not know what or how to effectively make a change.
Around 1975, I heard about Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) so my cousin and I attended a course. At the time, it seemed very strange to the both of us. A short while later, I was in a metaphysical bookstore and I KNEW that somewhere in the store there was information about a course in NLP. I stayed in that store for a good four hours and the gals kept asking me if they could help. I told them that there was some information about an NLP course in the store. They finally called the owner. When she arrived, she asked what I was looking for. I explained. She went over to a table, slid the cloth that was hanging down over the side and pulled out a box. And there was the poster advertizing the NLP course. NLP supplied some of the tools that helped me figure out more about how to consciously create reality. NLP is about HOW the brain processes information, not necessarily what the brain processes. As Richard Bandler said, “NLP is not about a process. NLP leaves a trail of processes.” When I coupled NLP with other methodologies (muscle testing and other forms of healing), I began to have effective results consistently.
Out of this exploration arose an awareness about the importance of asking the right questions. That when we ask the right questions, each of us can make effective, lasting changes within ourselves. So the question then is: what is the correct question to ask? From my experience, the client will tell you exactly what it is. The trick is to know what to listen for. The whole objective is to gather information from the client. The information is all about their internal representation of an experience that is the cause of generating an outcome that they either DO or DO NOT want to have happen. It’s about knowing HOW to make changes to the cause of the manifestation in our life. How to be effective in listening. There is a huge difference between KNOWING and intuition. When knowing happens there is nothing else there, it sits all alone by its self, total and complete. Whereas intuition has fragments attached.
So how does effective change take place or happen? It is very simple: when the conscious mind makes a different choice about the meaning of an emotional experience. Then, and only then, will change happen. Many people collect information about what is going on, however make little to no changes within themselves. Some really want to make a change, however they feel that the price of change will be too high. In other words, they have a fear that if they make a change, they will loose something, thus are better off keeping the current situation as is. The choice is always ours. What people often fail to realize is that making the change within ourselves is 99.9% painless. And the change can happen in an instant, or NOW!
I don’t consider myself to have a mission of any kind. I simply do what is required on a day-to-day basis. I’m usually in the JOY of whatever I happen to be doing in the moment. Clients come out of the blue. I’ve put on a few courses for the fun of it. No big burning desire to help or inform people of my experiences values or belief structures—each of us create for ourselves. Each of us will progress and advance one way or another, and this happens the moment we start to wonder or become curious about life. The key to all change or enlightenment begins with a question.
All paths lead to the same Source. Logic and reason are not our allies, KNOWING defies those concepts. Knowledge is a wonderful thing, however it changes very little—if anything—when feelings are involved. Knowledge about something will never change a feeling. It is the conscious mind that determines the meaning of an experience. And all “hurt” comes from the notion that something can happen “to us.” We have an EXPECTATION, whatever the form. When we have an experience of having an expectation met, an experience happens within us and we then label it “love.” Having that experience, the brain associates the expectation with the feeling of “love” as if experiencing love has its origins outside ourselves. When in actuality, what is going on is that some kind of a condition is met, and because the condition is met, the feeling we experience is US (you and I being LOVE). The question then is, can we have the feeling of LOVE without having to have a particular condition met?
LOVE is who we ARE. I’ve yet to experience anyone with the ability to “give” LOVE to anyone—now that idea opens a can of worms doesn’t it? However, when consciousness unpacks everything relating to the simple knowing that “I AM LOVE,” one will realize that there is no such thing as “giving” and “receiving” love because we ARE LOVE.
